Happy Sunday Morning! It's your Good Neighbor Toni Walker here again for a God message.  Each day is a new day and you never know what you might get as the day progresses but we do know we have a great God that so loved us that he prepares us for success and equips us for our days ahead even if we don't realize it. I hope you find your purpose in this day and see how God equipped you to help you deal with any struggle you come upon. Today I am having strawberries and blueberries (yes, I went to the store, don't get me started about Wal-Mart and how I can't find anything there. I am guessing they want me to go elsewhere since they are hiding everything.). I'm also having a cinnamon raisin bagel by @lendersbagels and Greek Yogurt in Toasted Coconut Vanilla by @lightandfit with chocolate milk and Maxwell House coffee ☕. You know how you just get feelings about things? Today I am feeling like a new chapter is beginning. I am hinting to god, please make this new chapter

I have had this song on my mind ever since church yesterday. The lyric doing a round and round in my mind is: You reign above it all, you reign above it all, over the universe, and over every heart, there is no higher name, Jesus you reign above it all. I feel like this is Jesus speaking to God, the Most High. It's like, hey, I know I am your advocate on earth, but you really reign, God, you are above it all.  It's comforting to know that God knows what he is doing up there. Sometimes supposed bad things happen in our lives and later we will tell people, yep, that was a blessing in disguise. I hope you can see the blessing amist your struggles and know you needed to go through that to grow, or maybe show someone else, hey, I went through that, you can to. Blessings. Psalm 3: Beneficial Creek

Psalm 3 Beneficial Creek by Toni Walker I'm a Wanderer A follower of Christ The one who led me away  From a world of strife The one who saw my need And told me the way To Beneficial Creek Where the waters came And washed me clean So clean  I could finally see The purpose God  had intended for me The purpose I now seek Each and every day The purpose I see  That has always shown me the way To Beneficial Creek At the water's edge Where I can see And I can breathe again I wander no more For my path is now set Jesus brought me here To pave my own path,  A path that is sure A path that is set GLORY TO HIS NAME - a hymn Down at the cross where my savior died Down where from cleansing from sin, I cried There to my heart was the blood applied Glory to His name.

Psalm 2: You Have The Power

Psalm 2 You Have The Power By Toni Walker Surely you can hear him Surely you can change Surely you can get out of your parking lot of sin and shame Where the winds take you over and whisper away Washing every unworthy thought right down the drain You have the power Each and every day To crush all those obstacles that are in your way Don't block God's favor or professions of grace God himself has your back, rolled your stone away Rolled your stone away The rocks, in your lot,  represent each of you, and say They show you human consciousness  and how it can move, rest and play You are just like that starfish you saved today You embraced my God, believed, each and every day Broke out of your shell and prayed

Psalm 1: Surely This Is Our God

Psalm 1  Surely This Is Our God By Toni Walker Surely this is our God For He is good. Surely this is our God We take him at His Word I waste away, Oh I waste away without you Oh, I waste away, I waste away, without you Even the darkness cannot hide, What it is that I do.  Keep me safe, oh, Lord, from the things people say Rescue me, oh, Lord, from sin’s evil ways Surely this is our God He refreshes me Surely this is our God He brings heaven’s light to me Oh, Lord you are my God I give you praise Oh, Lord you are my God I lift up your name I waste away, Oh I waste away without you Oh, I waste away, I waste away, without you Even the darkness cannot hide, What it is that I do. Oh, Lord you are my God I give you praise Oh, Lord you are my God I lift up your name Oh, Lord you are my God I give you praise Oh, Lord you are my God I lift up your name

Your Good Neighbor Suggests.. May 21st Breakfast Thoughts

Good Saturday morning to everyone. Looks like it is a bit cooler outside after the storms we've had lately. Have you noticed how there is a time of calm after every storm in your life? It's like it's as if it's God's way of giving us a bit of a breather before you have to dig back into your life again. Sometimes it is a time of decluttering or letting go of what we no longer need or resonate with, be that people or situations.  I saw a poignant saying on someone's post on Facebook this morning. It said: Stop giving CPR to dead situations. So true. What do you need to release in your life right now?  Definitely I am releasing hinting to myself and noticing past friendships that still trigger me or cause me pain. I am deciding to just let it go, like that gal from Frozen says. Those relationships are frozen and dead, no reason to continue to let them hurt me. Time to move forward toward the great place God has opened up for me.  Today I am having an Egg Sandwich w

Psalms, Parables & My Spiritual Walk

Psalms, Parables & My Spiritual Walk by Toni Walker As I was moving through my day today, I made a decision that circumvented one I had made in my morning breakfast post. These posts come from my Influencer account which I call: Your Good Neighbor Suggests. The is something I post on IG/Facebook each morning and suggest some of my favorite things to eat in the early AM. In that post I mentioned I was going to change my Creative You blog into a more spiritual mission than it was previously. Currently, it is all about the creative things I do.   My decision was that I’m going to refocus a bit. I had let the Creative You blog lapse and hadn’t posted anything on it since right before covid hit  i n 2019. This morning I came up with a new blog name called: Praise Him Psalms and Parables, Praises and Promises.    I will leave the blog Creative You as it is and try to be more cognizant about posting there in the future the things that strike my creative fancy. I want to make this area a m
