You Have The Power

Surely you can hear him
Surely you can change
Surely you can get out of your parking lot of sin and shame
Where the winds take you over and whisper away
Washing every unworthy thought right down the drain

You have the power
Each and every day
To crush all those obstacles that are in your way
Don't block God's favor or professions of grace
God himself has your back, rolled your stone away
Rolled your stone away

The rocks, in your lot, 
represent each of you, and say
They show you human consciousness 
and how it can move, rest and play

You are just like that starfish you saved today
You embraced my God, believed, each and every day
Broke out of your shell and prayed

But basically you have to dry those tears, put on your big girl panties and decide -- ENOUGH! I am worthy of it all, just like the song says. We choose our focus every day. How we react and what we choose to do with our day is so important. Pastor Quinton Runyon used to say you can see what your life is by looking at who you are spending time your with and what you are reading or watching on tv/YouTube. Psalms, Parables & My Spiritual Walk by Toni Walker As I was moving through my day today, I made a decision that circumvented one I had made in my morning breakfast post. These posts come from my Influencer account which I call: Your Good Neighbor Suggests. The is something I post on IG/Facebook each morning and suggest some of my favorite things to eat in the early AM. In that post I mentioned I was going to change my Creative You blog into a more spiritual mission than it was previously. Currently, it is all about the creative things I do.   My decision was that I’m going to refocus a bit.
