Place of safety - Psalm 23:1-2

Yesterday or the day before I read a devotion about 23rd Psalm. It says, the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me my down in green pastures, rest beside still waters, he restores my soul. The devotion spoke about how sheep have a tendency to wander off, get exhausted and lose their way. The Shepherd has to force them to rest, to stay and they only do that when they feel safe. I feel like that sheep sometimes, mindlessly wandering and depleting my energy putting me in danger. I'm happy he can force me to lie down and rest, heal, renew and bring me to a place of safety
