Week 1: God’s Kingdom is Unshakable

  1. Hebrews 12:28-29"Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our ‘God is a consuming fire.’”
  2. Psalm 46:1-2"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea."
  3. Isaiah 26:4"Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal."
  4. Matthew 7:24-25"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

  2. Revelation 21:1"Then I saw 'a new heaven and a new earth,' for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea."

Week 3: Finding Stability in Seasons of Change

  1. Romans 14:5-6"One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord."
  2. Ecclesiastes 3:1"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."
  3. Malachi 3:6"I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed."
  4. James 1:17"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
